About Us

South Eastern Europe Advisory Service Network – SEASN is association of agricultural advisory services, agricultural chambers, agricultural institutes, faculties and non-governmental organisations founded in Bulgaria on 22nd October 2015.

SEASN is operating on the territory of its members and public and private advisory services, advisors individuals as well as other agricultural institutions, non-governmental organisations and natural person working in agriculture and rural areas can become members in SEASN.

As a young association, we have an impressive list of members with lot’s of experiences in projects: Advisory Service Croatia, Banat University of Agriculture Sciences and Veterinary Medicine of Romania, Carinthian Chamber of Agriculture of Austria, Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry of Slovenia, Institute for science application in agriculture of Serbia, Ministry of Agriculture Forestry and Rural Development of Kosovo, National Agricultural Advisory Service of Bulgaria, Initiative for Agriculture Development from Kosovo, National Extension Agency of Macedonia, Szecheny Istvan Egyetem from Hungary, Department for Advisory Affairs in Plant Production and Animal Husbandry from Montenegro.  There are also a few individual members. Infrastructure

SEASN Associations headquarters is in Zagreb and it is operating on the territory of its members: Austria, Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Kosovo, Macedonia, Montenegro, Romania, Serbia and Slovenia.  DATALAB infrastructure already has good experience in implementing of ICT on farmers side and coordination in order to have functional information tools used as standard part of agriculture production. In this project SEASN will be a full partner and SEASN members with DATALAB will be sub-contracted as a third parties.


Key persons:

MSc. Milan Husnjak (M)

Milan Husnjak has a degree at University of Veterinary Medicine in Zagreb, graduated with very good grade-point-average. Since 1991, he has been a M.Sc. Animal Husbandry. He has 37 years of experience in field work with farmers (30 years in Croatia and 7 years in Switzerland), out of which 5 years in Advisory service as a Senior coordinator and Expert for international cooperation. Milan is an expert in milk cows herd health – reproduction, udder health, prevention of lameness and metabolic diseases. Since 2013, he has been a member of the Executive Board of IALB and President of the South Eastern Europe Advisory Service Network (SEASN). He is a Team leader in ASC for PLAID project.

PhD. Snežana Janković (F)

PhD. Snežana Janković is a Director of the Institute for Application of Science in Agriculture (IPN), Belgrade, Serbia. She has a PhD degree in Agricultural Science at Faculty of Agriculture, University of Belgrade. As a researcher and a research associate took part in seven national research projects. Since 2015, she has been a Vice-President of the SEASN Association.

PhD. Slađan Stanković (M)

PhD. Slađan Stanković has 20 years of experience in Agriculture, out of which 15 years as an Expert for Agronomy – Plant Protection specialist in Institute for Application of Science in Agriculture (IPN), Belgrade, Serbia. He has a M.Sc. degree in Biotechnology – Plant protection at Faculty of Agriculture in Belgrade and  a PhD degree in Ecology at the Faculty of Environmental Protection, Educons, Novi Sad. Since 2015, he has been a Secretary of the SEASN Association.

Igor Hrovatič (M)

Igor Hrovatič is a Head of Slovenian Advisory Service in Chamber of Agriculture and Forestry of Slovenia (CAFS).  He has a BSc degree in Agriculture at Biotechnical Faculty, University of Ljubljana. About 29 years of professional experience in the field of agriculture, food and RD issues (incl. agric. engineering, agrarian economics, phytosanitary issues, farm management, food technology), out of which more  than 4 years as a Director of the CAFS. Since  2017, he has been a Vice-President of SEASN Association.

  • Founded South Eastern Europe Advisory Service Network (SEASN) in October 2015 in Bulgaria
  • PLAID Peer-to- Peer Learning Accessing Innovation through Demonstration, EU Horizon 2020, Call: H2020-RUR-2016-2017.
  • Tempus Project CaSA – Building Capacity of Serbian Agricultural Education to Link with Society and creation of a National Repository for Agricultural Education (NaRA). – 544072-TEMPUS-1-2013-1-RS-TEMPUS-SMHES (2013 – 4604 / 001 – 001) – Snežana Janković was a Coordinator of WP 6: Improvement of competences of experts in extension services.
