Minutes from the 4th SEASN Assembly and 5th Regional Conference of Advisory Services of South Eastern Europe

The 4th SEASN Annual Assembly meeting and the 5th Regional Conference of Advisory Services of South Eastern Europe was held on 6th and 7th December 2018 in Ilok, Croatia

The 4th SEASN Assembly started at 14:00 in the Hotel Dunav in Ilok, Croatia. M. Husnjak presented an Agenda of the 4th SEASN Assembly. There was no amendments and additional proposals. After the vote, the Agenda of the 4th SEASN Assembly was adopted.

Slavica Kuzmić and Robert Radišić were selected for writing minutes from these SEASN events. These events were organized by the SEASN President and associates.

Work report

SEASN President tabled the SEASN work report for 2017. and 2018. The work report was consisted of: GFRAS project as one completed, SEASN web-site and RUR-16-19 project. M. Hrovatič talked about FAIRshare Kick-Off meeting and project details. SEASN signed the Grant and Consortium Agreement and SEASN will participate in creating a content for use-cases in work packages that are delivered to SEASN. President M. Husnjak estimated that for the last year SEASN had 2 000 working hours, which is extraordinary success. After the vote, the work program for 2018. was adopted.

Financial Report

After work report M. Husnjak presented to the members Financial Report of SEASN which is prepared by M. Nemeth, Financial Report was presented in detail by M. Andraš and M. Stanković. Report was consisted of full Financial Report for 2017. and for 2018. M. Husnjak explained in detail the Financial Report and clarified that SEASN haven’t had any incomes in 2017. and the cost of previous Assembly in Laško is most significant cost for now. Other costs consists travel and accommodation costs.

M. Stanković mentioned the importance of paying membership fee. It is important for paying people and associates, our taxes and for taking meetings. The Financial Report was previously prepared by Talia Biro – bookkeeping. After the vote, the Financial Report for 2018. was adopted by all members.

Elections, acceptance of new SEASN members, and new candidates for next SEASN elections

SEASN President presented the Resignation of SEASN vice-president Emanuela Dimitrova, and SEASN members accepted the resignation. Also, Delyan Georgiev presented himself as a new SEASN vice-president candidate. After the vote, M. Georgiev was accepted as new SEASN vice-president.

Eleni Zarakosta from University of Athens and Agim Zuzaku from Economic Support Group. Kosovo presented as new candidates for SEASN membership. M. Andraš presented Hungarian Agriculture Chamber instead of Reszketo Timea. After the vote, the candidates were accepted as new SEASN members.

SEASN President first talked about new elections of SEASN Board. President said he won’t candidate for next President election and presented his new President candidate: M. Hrovatič. It was accepted conclusion that new Board, which should be presented in six months (cca. June, 2019.) will organize the next SEASN Assembly. Everyone agreed on the new President candidate. M. Hrovatič thanked for the candidacy, and agreed to form the next Board and Assembly.

Work plan for 2019.

SEASN President presented the Work Plan for 2019. first he shared everything he learned participating in FAIRshare Kick-Off meeting that held in November. Also, it was proposed the formation of SEASN Back Office and the Work Groups plan for every project that SEASN has: FAIRshare project, RUR-16-19 project, Danube Soya Pilot project of Training the Trainers, Cow Lameness and Claw Trimming in SEE Workshop. M. Georgiev proposed his Program of Cross/Study Visits for 2 people in each country and shared the draft Agenda. After the discussion, the following Work groups are formed:

Expert Soya Work Group: Miloš Nožinić, Marija Kalentić, Aleksandra Sudarić, Tatjana Međimurec, Walter Frölich, Leopold Rittler, Eleni Zarakosta.

Expert Workin Group for EU projects: Kristijan Jelaković, Igor Hrovatič, Aleš Tolar, Slađan Stanković, Zenel Bunjaku.

Working Group for Lameness Procej: Milan Husnjak, Rade Jovanović.

Back Office: Snežana Janković, Milan Husnjak, Eleni Zarakosta, Ver Andraš.

Working group for Cross-visits: Delyan Georgiev, Milena Nalbantova, Milan Husnjak, Zenel Bunjaku, Peter Krištof

Administative Support in all working groups: Slavica Kuzmić

Working group position are open for additional changes. SEASN participants talked about RUR-16-19 project, mentioned M. Aleš who is at this time in a meeting in Paris, and discussed time limits and advices from Eleni Zarakosta about the project implementation. After the vote, the Work Plan for 2019 was accepted.

Other

Under the last item of the agenda SEASN Participants talked about Delyan Cross Visit proposal, and everyone agreed on asking additional questions with e-mails.
